The opening week prediction may be a little disappointing, yes. But don't forget how far Ci has come in the last 3 months. From uncharted land to #2 is NOT bad. And I don't really think this is aiming for a 1-week grace period like all the other R&B girls. Epic wants this to have longevity. You can tell because it's jam-packed with smashes.
Two R&B songs are all that are running this album right now, and the type of music Ciara does is practically dead and gone, but Ci has them checking for it again. Wait to see what Epic does with the rest of this era, calling it a flop in first week is absolutely pathetic
The hate just irks me. This bitch went from "done" to #1 on Urban radio with a DIFFERENT song rocketing to the top 20 on iTunes. That's what I call a comeback. The receipts will continue to write themselves as the era continues, watch it happen.
