I think it should be. The YT premiere date is August 31, 2012, so as long as it aired on any MTV channel it should be eligible.

I'd love to see it get nominated. It was pretty well-made, and it did get a couple nods at the MVPA (Music Video Production Association) Awards for Hip-Hop Video and Art Direction, so it might be possible!

They'll probably bring back Kevin Hart to host

Don't think they'd allow for two artists to debut lead singles on the same show tbh + I don't think Katy will be releasing that soon, Expecting her to release this Fall or maybe even early next year

I can see Same Love by Macklemore getting a lot of Technical awards.

I think JT is going to be one of the technical darlings, and I can even see both "Mirrors" and "Suit & Tie" getting nominations. P!nk should be another tech award favorite, though probably only for "Try."

On another note: I wonder what MTV's gonna do about artists like Ed Sheeran, Icona Pop, The Lumineers, etc., whose videos came out (and were probably aired on some MTV channel) during the eligibility period last year but didn't pick up steam until later in 2012 or even this year... It'd be weird seeing BNA without any of those artists, but are they eligible??

Guess that's what happens when the US market is so damn late for everything
