I think her essence is R£B. The jazz and blues are kind of her roots musically and she has the kind of voice really meant for modern R£B. And the second and third albums definitely leaned more R&B, even the debut had a fair amount of it
But she also likes experimenting and when she does it, she goes all the way, not like a watered down version through an R&B template, so the R£B has been kind of missing on her last two albums, especially Lotus.
But I think that's more of who he she is than anything, so I'm saying R£B
