I don't know why people have so much trouble with her talking in a way that's familiar to her. It's her experience, not the listener's.
Because the listeners that aren't hardcore fans aren't going to buy her music if they don't know what the **** she's saying, and I don't even think she knows what she's saying.
It needs to be relatable, not gibberish just because she knows what it means.
I think she can find a nice balance between her own weird slang and normal words too lol. I mean look at 1991. Reading some of the lyrics instead of the whole thing and leaving out the beat it seems weird but when the entire thing is put together it makes sense and it sounds amazing.
