When will y'all realize the more you keep comparing her to iconic figures that will always have a more, lasting impact than her only makes her look even less impacting?
Gaga is her own icon and she's doing something different than them. That something isn't ever going to have anywhere near the impact of the likes of MM or Princess Diana but it's something she and her fans can be proud of. It just kind of cheapens her work when you compare her to these icons. Unless she made a huge splash like Adele did, had a publicized breakdown like Britney catapulting her to be the #1 photographed and talked about celebrity in the world... she really shouldn't be compared to MM.
And that's okay!
