That's exactly what she did. She hasn't mentioned the album since she went on break after the BTWB was cancelled. The only reason she brought it up last year was 'cause they were gonna release something last year but decided not to.
All the teasing has come from other people, like fans and so-called "insiders". Not her fault.
Once again, this isn't Gaga soon, this is label soon as in the real definition of soon.
