Gaga. I mean really - she'd have the bigger opening week both domestically and worldwide, she'd definitely sell more worldwide overall, she'd have a bigger tour, and she'd be more acclaimed and have a better chance of winning a Grammy.

Katy will slay in singles, there's no doubt in my mind about that, but tour tickets and album sales gross a heck of a lot more money than singles sales; singles are so overrated on ATRL.

Like since when is getting your own 3D documentary not an achievement? Because Journey to Fearless was certainly much bigger. And let's not forget The Smurfs grossed over 560 million.

i don't even know where to start with the clocking and dragging, so I'll keep it classy and simply say - Gaga.

Gaga would win in first week sales, both in the US and WW. Katy's album will have the hits to sustain it for much longer, and will probably perform better in the long run.

I don't think any pop star other than Adele or Taylor Swift would even dare to release their album on the same day as Gaga, though. And I think Gaga'd be smart enough to avoid releasing against either of them.
