Usher showed his influence of Bobby Brown, R kelly and MJ without having to rip them off or use other artist to spark controversy in order to make a career.
How is Usher "flopping" negating anything he's done though.
6 eras with a top 10 hit and good music.

NB I see Usher's name being brought up continuously by current musicians as an an infleunce but Never Timberlake, the only person who even acknowledges his existence is Justin Bieber.. and selling less after 6 albums to Justin's 3 albums is a stupid comparison, seeing that after only 2 albums his sales are now considered local and will just go down after this

They do this with Britney vs. Gaga, Beyonce, and others as well.

Don't take Bie seriously, in the Army Base he actually acknowledge being racist which shocked me and others. He clearly is going to go with someone that rips off urban culture vs. an urban artist anyday.
I had to expose you, Bie. Nothing personal.
You bring up a good point. A lot of people have shown Usher proper homage as far as his influence.

Usher still is a successful artist and as you said it is bound to happen eventually. Still doesn't take away his legacy.
