Justin reached his peak in FSLS and that peak didn't even surpass Usher's peak which was confessions. only 3 albums in and he is now local even after all the non-stop hype and promo

Actually, DP is the closest thing to MJ tbh. They even used MJ's drummer for their productions

I honestly feel like MJ was the last amazing male pop star we had. Nowadays we have to look to females for amazing pop music. Hence why most of ATRL stans for a female, and most stan wars are because of the pop girls. The guys just don't do anything for me. Sure they have a few bops but give me katy, britney, rihanna even gaga over justin b, justin t or usher. Ironically enough, the guys do nothing for me.

I guess out of all males, justin has the most potential but this last cd was seriously disappointing. It was cute for like a week, but I pay it dust now. I tried forcing myself to listen to it recently and got bored after the 3rd track. he definetly has his bops, I feel like he was better when he was with nsync.

I'd say Usher but I always preferred Justin's Music more.

None of the new male artist hold a light to MJ though. I don't think his successor has come yet imo. I thought Chris Brown may have but his vocals fall flat and he's clearly lost it.

Usher showed his influence of Bobby Brown, R kelly and MJ without having to rip them off or use other artist to spark controversy in order to make a career.
How is Usher "flopping" negating anything he's done though.
6 eras with a top 10 hit and good music.

You bring up a good point. A lot of people have shown Usher proper homage as far as his influence.

Usher still is a successful artist and as you said it is bound to happen eventually. Still doesn't take away his legacy.
