I agree with everything else you said pretty much, but I think that Beyonce, having put Bootylicious in the dictionary, is a body-image icon in some ways. She may not be the most toned, but that is why a lot of women look up to her. For a lot of people it's impossible to get a body like Jennifer Lopez without a personal trainer and dietician. Beyonce's body, while it still requires the aforementioned employees, is much more natural looking.

Enough people have commented about the craziness that is claiming Beyonce's music sounds alike except for 4. So I'll just focus on this.

Beyonce knows the word reinvention. But it seems she knows better that a drastic change in look is only a material way of showing that you are somehow new and therefore interesting and marketable again. She doesn't need to rely on a dramatic change of appearance to gain attention when she can be herself and still slay. It's not hard to see why reinvention artists can get so many fans. Which one would you like: The soft one? The punk one? The holy one? The unholy one? Choose and it's your's. With Beyonce she can embody all those things even in one album with no need for a coloured wig.
