Thank you so much for saving me. I knew that I am gonna end here. I will try my best next round.
I actually thought your trinity was very well done, I liked it!
Just listen to what the other judges had to say and I have no doubt that you can improve for next round

▲ Tegan And Sara - Love They Say Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers Paramore - Still Into You
▼
This trinity stands out for its' different shades of love. The top of the trinity is a beautiful anthem by T&S, defining love and encompassing the inspiring and empowering facet of love. Then, onto Lykke Li, who demonstrates the darker, curious side of love in "I Follow Rivers". Rounding out the trinity is Paramore, with the happy, story-telling and passionate side of love. Together, these 3 songs tell you what love is and the power it has.

borntodie's "LOVE" trinity
TEGAN AND SARA Love They Say
Love, they say it heals all wounds,
Love removes the hurt in you,
Love, I know that this is true.
***
First off is a song that talks about the inspirational, empowering side of love. It mentions all the positive effects love has, and it reassures the significant other that love will make sure everything is gonna be okay in the end.
Now we hear about the opposite side of love - the dark, dangerous side of it. This song describes idealizing someone to the point where you dependso much on them that your life just consists of following them wherever they go.
I, I follow, I follow you,
Deep sea baby, I follow you
I, I follow, I follow you
Dark doom honey, I follow you
***
LYKKE LI I Follow Rivers
PARAMORE Still Into You
It's not a walk in the park to love each other
But when our fingers interlock, can't deny, can't deny
You're worth it
Wanting to close my trinity on a positive note, this tune talks about still being in love after many years of being with your lover, and how it's worth sticking through the tough times together. It shows the happy side of love.

▲ George Michael - Careless Whisper Grace Jones - La Vie En Rose Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart
▼
This trinity begins with a timeless smash hit by George Michael, outlining immediately how dangerous and powerful love can be, emphasizing the importance of staying true to your lover. Then, Grace Jones covers a classic about love with an enrapturing presence, summarizing successfully what love is supposed to sound like. Rounding out the trinity is a solution to the problems of love, learning to heal. This trinity, quite diverse, shows the different stages of love and doesn't step around the colder stuff.

GEORGE MICHAEL
C A R E L E S S ♥ W H I S P E R
This pleading comes in the form of one of the biggest love songs of all time
and a #1 on the Billboard Year End Chart of 1985.
It talks about the carelessness one has towards their partner
and realizing that your mistake has cost you something valuable.
In essence, the song is an elaborate way of saying
"don't cheat your loved ones because in the end, it is you who gets cheated."
Needless to say, it's a complex ballad with a marvelous sax instrumental
that makes you melt and not take love for granted.
GRACE JONES
L A ♥ V I E ♥ E N ♥ R O S E
While Èdith Piaf's version provides a more raw emotion,
it is Grace's version that connects to me the most
with its exotic flavor that adds more passion to the romance.
Representing true love, it is the ultimate song about
being meant for each other.
Grace sings in both French and English about a man
who is just perfect for her,
a man who says and does all the right things
and just the instant gratification of finding the one.
Basically the ideal love we all dream about.
ALICIA KEYS
T R Y ♥ S L E E P I N G ♥ W I T H ♥ A ♥ B R O K E N ♥ H E A R T
A song about trying to make it after
a break up you wish you could mend,
Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart is about healing.
Throughout the song, Alicia reminisces on the good times
and tries to hold onto those moments instead of
accepting reality which is not so pleasant.
It's a naïve concept but one that I'm familiar
with in past relationships that were destructive
but had its positives. It seems counter intuitive to hold
onto the special moments but it is those times
that help you move on.

▲ Brad Paisley - We Danced Kerli - Kaleidoscope Lauriana Mae - Suicide Bomb
▼
This trinity tells a story of love - from the dancing, to the kaleidoscope of emotions, to the suicide-bomb-love intensity of love. It shows a process of love. This trinity is also extremely diverse, ranging from a country track to complete electronic dance on to urban-infused Pop. Though none of these songs are popular are known, it adds to its' charm the unfamiliar feeling love can often have.
I still remember the first time I met the person of my dreams. It was prom might - my senior year. I didn't go to prom when I was a junior since I didn't want to go alone, and I wasn't dating anyone. I wasn't dating anyone my senior year, either. I wanted to go because I knew it would be my last chance. What did I have to lose anyway, right?
I went to prom in casual wear. I was surprised I was allowed in...maybe the school just didn't care enough about the dress code to enforce it. I stood by the punch bowl awkwardly - half-regretting my decision to come to the prom. In fact, I was just about to throw my cup away and leave when a boy came up to me and asked to dance. I was bored out of my mind and figured dancing might make me have a bit more fun, so I said yes.
We got on to the dance floor and a slow song started playing. I was going to tell him we didn't have to dance to it, but he took me by the hand and we danced. I set my head on his shoulder as we moved to the motion of the song. Even today, I distinctly remember the smell of his cologne.
After the slow song was over, he asked if I wanted to leave prom. I agreed since I didn't really like the song that was on. We got in his car and he drove up the road to where a huge, grassy field was. We then got out and sat on the roof of his car. We started talking about school, our family, friends...the usual things people our age would talk about. What happened next is what surprised me.
As we were in mid-conversation, he leaned over and kissed me. I had never kissed another guy until that moment, but it was like a kaleidoscope of emotions rushing into me. I never felt that way when kissing a girl; it was all so surreal. We then looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds. It was one of the greatest feelings I've ever had, and I couldn't help but smile. He smiled back at me and ran his fingers through my hair.
He took me home later that night, and I couldn't sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about him, and what happened that night.
It's been 5 years since that night, and we are getting married next week. I honestly feel like the luckiest guy in the world. I have a man who would be there for me if it's right or it's wrong, and I would stand by him the same. I believe that everyone has a perfect someone, and this man is mine.
I don't like parties, I'm more of a small get together with my closest friends, pop open a fine bottle of wine , or tequila and sit around listening to music and what not
Most of my weekend will actually be spent finding furniture for my friends apartment that she's moving into, and catching up on homework

I only see one #3 for Drip
Well I will listen a bunch of non-mainstream artists and try to make it sound like in an album, I mean songs that can complete each-other, but not sound the same. Also, I am gonna try to add my personal touch

I don't think avoiding mainstream artists is necessary! You don't get extra points for being less mainstream or anything like that, it's how you connect the 3 songs together, how much you spice it up and put together 3 songs that embody different parts of a whole!
Collin, I'm blown away by the graphics and organization of the game. Everything looks so classy and informative, and I love all the extra touches like the summary of the top 3 entries.
My avi looks like it's celebrating being in the Top 3.

(And I've seen that you placed me the highest Thank you )
When reviewing the bottom three, I actually thought yours was the most cohesive and even though I personally don't love the songs, I can see why you chose them and what you were going for! Hopefully next round you'll slay us all and make a comeback.

Thank you so much YSL Congratulations on being in the golden trinity
Anna, YSL, and Huga better slay
I'm more than happy with being #6, especially judging by how competitive this game is
Congrats to everyone who made it through and I'm sorry to see Marooner5 go!
I wonder what the next challenge is gonna be about. I expect an Empowerment Trinity (if not this round, maybe in the coming rounds, it's bound to happen )
