Hey everyone, just decided to start my blog in here
I've been a member since January last year (registered as DanV), but haven't been much active. I used to come here mostly to read news, check out some wars among members (
), but since I've started posting a lot more lately (I think that thanks to the Britney official thread
) I think I'm ready to be part of the ATRL Active Community.
As this is my first blog entry, I'll start by introducing myself (as most of you don't know me): I'm Dan Sanchez Leon, just turned 18 (September 6th). I'm from Trujillo (an important city in my country, Perú). I'll start studying Foreign Languages at the University next year (I was studying Laws, but it was too boring for me so I dropped it
). I also work as an English teacher.
I think it's obvious to say that I like music, but I can name my favorite artists:
P!nk, Hilary Duff, Melanie C, Nelly Furtado, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Rachel Stevens, Dannii Minogue, Sophie-Ellis Bextor, Kelly Clarkson, Fergie, Belinda, Sean Paul, Good Charlotte 
, Rogue Traders, Black Eyed Peas (based on that you can say my favorite music genres).
There are many things I like doing, like playing tennis and learning foreign languages... But what I LOVE DOING the most is
singing and
acting 
. One day I'll be a famous singer and actor; I'll give my best, y'all see!

Little story about my past as a singerA couple of years ago I was signed to a record label in here. I was excited about that, so I recorded some songs (not written by me) but they all remained in the demo stage. Know why? Because those jerks wanted to masterize all of the songs with reggaeton music (something I hate with passion)
So I had to quit (I was 15 years old, so the contract wasn't legal
). That record label closed its doors last year, because sales went soooooooooooo down
.
I'm currently writing songs, both in English and Spanish. I hope to record them one day in the near future (I think I've got 78 or 80 songs already written).

If you wonder why my nickname is Stego...
Stego is the shortened form of a word I invtented when I was younger (11 years old). I don't want that word to ever dissapear, that's why I'll always carry it.
