I didn't even participate, but MESSSSS at "Oblivion" getting punched out before the Top 5.
Also, I'm hoping "Wildest Moments" will make the Top 3 at least. It's not Jessie's best, but she deserves to rank as high as possible.
Who knew that this would become one the most successful and critically acclaimed R&B singles of 2012 and also deemed as the modern day “Sexual Healing”. It's such a sophisticated and charming track - this is what we call "grown folks" music. Production is stellar and Miguel delivers a commendable vocal performance. This was one record I knew would be an instant favorite of mines since the original 2 minute version we got in early 2012.
"Werewolf" is a beautiful breakup song about the werewolf Fiona brings out of the "super guy". Once again, her metaphors and lyricism cannot be touched.
It's certainly not a Fiona song without it having a cryptic moment; you hear screams of children around the two minute mark. That part was inspired by the shouting and screaming she heard during a fight she had seen in a film, so she created her own version (with children) and its meant to create a sense of the werewolf as it attacks its victim on a full moon. It's a fan favorite that some took notice and then decide to take out?
