Her apologies weren't even well-rehearsed but I have been watching her for years and I can tell she's just a good-natured fat lady with a big and strongly Southern cultured mouth. It could have been a lot worse.

I don't even really like Paula, but the way she's being treated in unreasonable.

She admitted, under-oath to using the word once. I mean, you could you imagine how many people have said that word before? How many people have used a derogatory term before? I'm willing to bet its a huge number.

At least she was honest in her use of the word in court.

I think there a minor backlash would've be fine, but this witchhunt is just ridiculous in my opinion.

She's a 60-70 year old Southern Woman, what do you people expect? Of course she has some tendencies and is maybe a little crass and does things in poor taste, but I do believe that she is a good person.
