I feel like, especially visually, Perfectionist was a very modern/current thing, whereas Trouble is almost kind of a throwback to 90s/grunge kinda stuff. The videos in particular look more like 90s videocam rather than modern HD, they lack a sharpness, giving it an interesting kind of vibe.

This song is legit the best thing she has released in a long while. It's a huge grower and is kind of reminiscent of something Gaga would write lyrically. I am very excited for the album!

Gaga could never write lyrics this good

If anything the lyrics remind me of Lana Del Rey at times (Seventeen with nowhere to go/movie star with a black eye)

I personally have not heard lyrics this heartfelt and raw and exposed come from anyone who is doing POP music except P!nk.

I've only heard the like from those in the rock/goth/industrial sort of genres.

Opening the song with a lyric telling of domestic violence ("Momma you're beautiful tonight, movie star hair and that black eye"), continuing on with the imprisonment of her father and drug addiction, the tone is set, and every lyric that follows is soaked and dripping with despair, accompanied by a vocal that feels so heavy and exhausted the listener can't help but feel everything the songstress has to say.

While "Night" is doom and gloom, there are lighter moments where Kills' own sense of false hope seems almost endearing throughout the chorus ("When I look up from the pavement, I know it's gonna be just fine, and I'll put on my dancing shoes real tight, cause it's just another Saturday night") with an array of subsequent "woah"s and "oh"s providing quick relief and adds a catchiness to the track which - combined with the production - makes this song a possible radio hit.

"Night" seemingly acts as a concrete aspect to Natalia's era; a foundation to every action and story she could possibly tell on her sophomore LP Trouble (September 3, 2013).

The lyrics sound like Lanas, which is a good thing so please don't get overly defensive again.

I wasn't even comparing them, i literally thought she had recorded one of Lanas demos.

It doesn't sound like Gwen or Gaga though, sorry.

I was just insinuating that tonally it sounds like something Gaga could do and in the vein of one of her more serious song lyrically. As far as I'm concerned, this song >>>> anything Gaga has done in years (I'm not remotely a Gaga fan...), but some of y'all need to calm your crazy ass **** with the defensiveness. I have been a huge Natalia fan from the beginning so let's not **** on the few supportive fans she has here, mmk?

On a more positive note, I have been whoring this song out for the last two days and it is very likely one of my favorite pop songs this year. Actually, it's probably the best written pop song I've heard in some time. I'm so excited for this album!

Hopefully with the producers she's working with her sound will be more defined and unique
