This thread is flamebait, and the same stupid question has been threaded numerous times. Why is it still open?

Ok but really what is UP with the 8 hour report limit?

Why should we have to pick and choose which posts are important enough for a report because we might not be able to report another one for 8 hours? Why should other rule-breaking posts be allowed to slip through the cracks due to these restrictions?

I understand it may be so a whole bunch of random **** doesn't get reported, but I can't help but feel like it is partially the mods saying "we get too many reports, lets make it so people can't report. Yeah, we're doing a great job."

This site is such a pleasure to use this fine day. No overcapacity messages in recent memory!
