Let’s Take a Ride to the City of Albums
Z000 Albums of the week:
J. Cole-Born Sinner
Fav: Let Nas Down
Comment: This is a great album that sounds more dark than anything with some storytelling along the way. Songs that sound decisively well-produced that fit the theme of the album plus rapping in his own self that sends a telling to whatever it’s about a girl, the industry & other rappers, how he reached prominent & his life. Whatever he wants to spit his thoughts, he will.
Kanye West-Yeezus
Fav: I Am a God
Comment: I didn’t know Kayne was releasing album until it was leaked last week. It’s good to see Kanye experiment more sounds in his music and of course would feed his ego more. On the first listen, I was like “WTF?”. But I have grown to like it, but still it‘s a mixed bag. My take is that the sounds are messing and kinda ruin the listening ride a bit, however, it has some good beats and electro/Industrial drawback & infamous statements on here as well. That is something Kayne never fails at. Praise his musical works & his over-the-top massive ego.

Quick Talk:
Maybe I should’ve made “Create Education Better” as last week’s Phrase of the Week. Those Miss Pageants. This week, the NBA Finals concluded as the Heats defeated the Spurs in a decent game 7 in an overall spectacular Series. Bruins & Blackhawks at the tie up to get advantage over the other in game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals, all the soccer/football action including the Confederations Cup and World Cup qualifying and in between there is baseball, tennis and golf. That’s the sports look out this week.
On to television, I haven’t caught up much on the Voice, however, I did see who won. It was the teen Texas Girl Danielle Bradbery. I hear some of her performances and she’s not bad and sounds terrific. Nice marketable choice that could or could not work. Overall she’s not my style in terms of her music ,but whatever flows I guess. That’s all I have seen any new and notable I missed Masterchef, Burn Notice, and Graceland this week. Last week, I started Summer classes in College because I have something to do since I have not got myself a job yet, but I would’ve still be taking the classes regardless because I want to get my units out of the way as soon as possible so I don’t have to stay in my crappytown for long. My English teachers is a fan of Punk Rock. You know the genre that has good rebellious sound mixed with political, social, and just for the hell of it lyrics that is wrapped up all in two minutes or less. Those were the days. Now it’s not as big and only a few would release new music each year. Apparently her husband, who is also a teacher at my old high school, is a musician and his band plays punk rock, which I heard of their music and it sounds alright and a bit funny when hearing the lyrics. What is also funny is that he is an art teacher. Yes she does have tattoos, but those are actual meaningful ones relating to her life. She does talk too much especially about her personal life. She talks so much that she can write a book, which she said she would. Still she does teach the class well and a bit better than other teachers. But like any other teachers she has flaws in her teaching that I disagree with, but whatever I don’t have to deal any of that .The only reason I mention my teacher is because of the music aspect otherwise I wouldn’t bother with it. My teachers have been so far either boring, annoying , or nice, but uninteresting. At least they can teach although some methods were unnecessary and the classes kinda dragged, but that’s how it is. That’s all I feel like talking for this week. Something gotta come up. I’m so stubborn.
5 Blurred Lines Robin Thicke ft. T.I & Pharrell [W:5] [P:3] [-2]

1 Power Trip J. Cole ft. Miguel [W:6] [P:1] [+4] [New #1 in the Zone!]
The top 3 all had a chance of hitting the #1 spot. That spot was given to J.Cole this week with his great song Power Trip. Of course his album is the sh!t & I appreciate what J.Cole has done so far. The countdown has been shaping up and my prefer of music is advancing quite nicely. Anything can happen. Next week, what will go down?
