It's funny how Rihanna sells well in the UK while she doesn't has a 6X Platinum single in the US. In the other hand, Katy sells super-well in the US but doesn't has huge sales in the UK.
The only ones with huge sales from both markets seems to be Adele and Gaga.
The comment above, yes, Rihanna doesn't have 6xplat in the US but that's fine. She has like 9 3x plat singles, and she's the biggest selling digital artist of all-time in the US. That's a feat right there. Rihanna sells in bulk, that's what matter in my opinion.
