This is probably one of the smartest things Gaga could ever do. She LEFT the public eye for a while. I have to admit that I kind of miss her.

There was a point during the BTW era where I got so sick of her that I started to delete her music off my iTunes library.

But now I feel like I want to see and hear from her again.

And how was this not a great thing? She was going to take a break regardless - the hip incident only shortened the tour; it didn't affect ARTPOP's release schedule. It's increased the demand for Gaga after she was overexposed.
