I'm surprised they chose that Madonna and Beyonce album. Mine would've been different. And Off The Wall so underrated. Would've picked Bad tho but still.

Glad to see Adele there, I'd be surprised if it didn't make it tbh I think 17 is just the right placement, at least for this time.

Um it's a good album? And it won 6 grammys? And everyone and their grandparents bought copies of the album?

To all the folks saying, "21 is only on here because it sold X amount of units," should know that Entertainment Weekly gave the album an A- before it became a phenomenon.

People need to face the fact that 21 did receive a ton of acclaim, many people do love the album (which is why it sold most of what it did), and it will continue to make best-of lists for years to come. It wasn't some panned album, and it certainly got more acclaim than many blockbuster albums (see Falling Into You, Britney's first two albums, anything from the boy bands, etc). And there are worse options on this list.

I'm not sure what exactly you're saying. So. Like because Adele is on the list, that makes this list bad? Because 21 is a good album, good enough for a list like this. And you're upset that this isn't based on sales? Because sweetie, sales doesn't measure quality music and its timelessness. If that's not what you're saying then you should elaborate because this post was confusing

If I made this list, Back to Black would without a doubt be top 10. It's ridiculous it's in the 70s The album is a masterpiece...Purple Rain getting the love it deserves, along with MBDTF. Kanye is the Prince of our generation. King.

Also: WTF @ no Ray of Light. The Velvet Rope should also be on there and Bad is MJs best and should be on here.

Truth. The placement may be a little high but let's not act like critics didn't love the album
