So I'm interested in buying my first "big boy" watch and I've decided that I want this Michael Kors watch. At $170, it's a pretty hefty chunk of money and I want to know if it'll be worth it. Does anyone here have experience with MK watches? Share your experience with them if so.

I have multiple watches that are $700+. So I know a good watch.
Michael Kors watches are a fashion statement. They are (usually) lightweight and can be thrown on with any outfit and look good.
But I must say, you must CARE for the watch. Don't just throw it off and continue on about your day. Actually take the time to place it back in its box, because timepieces like this are fragile and can get ruined if they are not properly cared for.
Buying tip: Try to always go with adjustable strap watches. It always a pain to get links removed from too-big bracelet watches, and lord forbid its too small
Mmmm, beautiful watch. Very simplistic and classy. I love watches. I have a rose gold stainless steel watch from him. It's just to die. I have gotten quite a few compliments on it. It looks good and it goes with everything that I wear, especially black. His watches are great quality watches. They are just the bees knees to be honest.

Well that's one reason why I'm opting towards this one: there is an adjustable leather strap. I'm pretty skinny, so it would be HORRIBLE to buy one and it be too clunky.

And would you mind elaborating on how I should care for it? I would like to preserve it for as long as possible.
I have a couple of MK watches and I love them. They are actually made by the same manufacturer of Fossil. The Fossil Outlet actually carries MK watches and they actually run specials on them periodically. In fact the two I got were on a BOGO so I got two for a little over $200. They're quality, but you have to be willing to take care of them @they can be a little heavy.
Such a beautiful color. The texture is just everything. I remember when I first got it, I couldn't stop staring at it. 
I would like to preserve it for as long as possible.
