There really isn't a need to rush to move out of your parent's house, it amazes me how people feel the need to rush out of their home just because they are 18 when they are neither mentally or financially ready in the slightest. Granted this all assumes you have normal parents that will still respect your adulthood and give you some space while under their roof.
Stay with them and save money until you are done with school and have a stable job and some savings to cushion yourself so I'd say for most cases they should be heading out at around 24 or 25 on the late side tops.
I moved out at 15 to study abroad. Took me a while to adjust but now I'm more than okay.
Personally I'll say when you feel you're ready. Don't leave just for the sake of doing so.
I'm 20, and I still live with my mom. I'm saving up money, though, to move to Chicago sometime in the next year, and I'm gonna start college once I move.
Well I'm 19 and I go to community college so I still live with my parents. Though my Mom is pretty much on the verge of kicking me out and divorcing my Dad so I'm basically screwed...
It honestly should be when you're financially stable and ready.
