Keep reaching and waiting for that non-existent single

I agree with her. I mean, it IS funny to laugh at old tweets and whatnot, but why do people blackmail artists with them? If I became famous, and people dug up my dusty old tweets, I would be FINISHED.

As soon as I realized what this was about I wasn't going to take her side... but her tweets offer many valid points. It's actually really well-said.. People will take any little comment an artist makes and run with it, so I guess it's hard to be honest after a certain level. I don't have any artists that I literally love every song/album, so I can understand the frustration of not being able to speak your mind when it's not even intended to insult anyone.

While I completely agree with her, I think it's worth mentioning how this sort of reveals some cognitive dissonance in the hip hop world. I mean, in what other industry can you be an up-and-coming artist but still feel yourself in such a way you need to take pot-shots at your betters?

Now that these blogs are digging back and calling these now-famous rappers out on their hypocrisy, they want to get hurt feelings? Nah.
