I actually like "Can't Hold Us" and the rest of his album. I don't really care if a man sings a song or not. Sure, I might like girls more, but yeah. Please do not like to act like I am the rest of the people of the pop world. Thanks. I guess if I had to say something wrong about "Can't Hold Us" is that Ray Dalton is the worst part of the song and should be in it. Oh wait... he's a male too. Damn it, I guess you're right. Men are icky.
I guess we can't really have the same opinions on this. I just like a different sound than what has been released. I have just found most of the songs that have been #1 to be boring as hell and not good songs. I don't really care if people them. Perhaps I am too harsh when I talk about them, but whatever. I guess I should continue to act "pressed" because songs I don't like make it to the top.
Yeah though. I just find most of the songs bad. I don't care if they are made by a boy or a girl. That doesn't mean anything. They would still be boring even if they were sung by a girl. Maybe I would just deal with it more if they were one of my favorite. Although I am pretty sure that if they sounded the same that I would still hate them. Even if a favorite of mine did sing them.

Yeah, I guess my comments were rather hasty. My apologies.
Sometimes I forget that ATRL actually does have a pretty diverse community, in terms of musical taste. But I guess I just got frustrated after seeing dozens of people say, "GAWD the #1s this year are all trash" when there have been past years with FAR worse #1s in the past (2010, for instance). And they just call them 'trash' without really articulating
what makes them trash.
And yeah, I know that not EVERYONE here likes female artists exclusively, but when you see the umpteenth thread crying for 'The Trinity' to come back... you know.
But no, it was wrong of me to prejudge you like that, based on the attitudes of a few other people, and I shouldn't have assumed that you're just like everyone else. I'm sorry, that was my bad.
