What an incredibly well-written finale! It set up the next season really good, making decisions that all felt right and giving closure to so many characters.
The firing isn't something bad, but actually hopeful and good and I'm pretty confident Don thinks the same way.
This episode was about new starts, closures and set up the next season amazing. The season might have had more missteps than the other ones but the finale undoes them all.
