But Madonna is still subject to the same travails as any parent.
The 54-year-old revealed the challenges in mothering a teenager and preteen on Good Morning America on Friday as she promoted her new documentary Madonna: The MDNA Tour.
The singer confessed that she is a 'pretty strict' mother during the interview, and that she only just gifted her 16-year-old daughter Lourdes with an iPhone, while son Rocco, 12, is yet to be given a mobile device.
But Madonna sighed as she admitted, only half in jest: 'Ever since my daughter got an iPhone she stopped talking to me.'
She said she is still getting used to that fact that Lourdes is nearly an adult.
'Seeing my daughter at 16 - it's kind of uncomfortable,' she said. 'She's still my little girl and she's also a woman.'
Madonna also revealed that since her MDNA Tour in 2012, where Rocco is seen dancing on stage, her son is now 'a foot taller' with facial hair and is 'looking at girl's butts.'
The way Madonna doesn't wanna spoil her kids is great actually! You'd think with Madonna as you mom, you'd be spoiled but M wants to teach her kids responsiblity and to earn things like how she worked hard to reach the status she is today.
Lourdes seems a little sissy, don't you think? She's sixteen, but whatever... I was about to compare her with Paris Jackson, but there are lot of differences there...
She's an excellent mother
I can't at Rocco not having a phone I like how she relies on certain principles (no TV, doesn't read magazines etc), I really admire that.

You can't compare these two girls, they grew up in completely different scenarios.
