Anyone else feel like Miley isn't getting enough credit for doing so well after such a long hiatus? When was the last time a pop girl didn't have a single released (send to radio, promoted, etc) in the US for 3+ years and then came back to smash? Was it Britney with ITZ-->Blackout?

Yup, it was Britney, Gimme More topped the Digital Songs Chart with the biggest first week sales (at that time in 2007) with 196k, and debuted top 3 in the USA and top 10 almost everywhere else. Of course, she she didn't get too much credit cause of the VMA 07, and the meltdown, but she still smashed.

In the end, we shouldn't care about if out artists aren't getting the credit they deserve, as long as they slay, **** what people think. Miley's slaying, and that's all that matters.
