lol oh dear. Well, he'll have to pay them anyway. It's an obvious sample that tens of millions of people will recognize. If they sue him, there's no way he can defend against it, I think it's likely his label will step in beforehand (if they haven't already) and give them a lump sum of money or a share of the royalties, since they obviously won't want to get sued.
