The next time someone is reprimanded for using gay slurs let my straight ass be ALL OVER that thread telling people it's not a big deal, it was "okay in their childhood," they have gay friends, etc. I'm sure the poll results and comments will be in agreement.

This already does happen surprisingly often, though. Even ignoring the predictable trolls, ATRL is pretty equal opportunity when it comes to being terrible.

The hipocrisy in this thread from everyone is amazing, Paula saying ***** will bring back racism to USA and white people like me (because if you don't say "Paula is a racist ****, I hope she chokes and dies" then you are automatically white) will ride dinosaurs.

Why are so many people under the assumption that she "just said the n-word years and years ago"?

She called one of her employees a ****** and that's how her old ass got in this entire situation in the first place. She also said that she wanted to have a slave plantation themed wedding for her son in which blacks would be dressed up as slaves serving all of the guests

And on top of that she admitted to making remarks about gays and jews as well, but you guys are running to her defense?

Like I said earlier, just like she has the right to say whatever she wants to say, Food Network has the right to be embarrassed by her actions and fire her. Simple as.

I am gay and I hear racist remarks at gays all the time... do I want those people to stop? Yes. Do I want them to be ruined? No

I agree/understand with the decision of the network to fire her, but to wish her to be ruined?

Exactly. Or "Were Paula's comments out of line?" The results are close as is though.
