It's just the Bm - A - D - G progression that is in a bunch of pop songs.
It's in this, Die Young, part of Fall Down's progression, and Dynamite by Taio Cruz.
Many songs use the exact same chord progressions, it's just more noticeable in this case.

The only part that sounds similar is the chord progression and the first verse, the rest is such a reach.
