Just wrapped up rehearsal for a special performance coming soon! #AmericanGirl @katmburns @paperpilots @janomama pic.twitter.com/2raEHkZyfN
I think it's pretty obvious that most (if not all) of the promotions going on are being done by Bonnie (and maybe Pulse Recordings) without any help from Epic.
The 2 competitions, the "special performance," the web-series, and all the other stuff we know about are clearly just Bonnie's own ideas on how to create some buzz. Which makes me proud that even without much label support, she's still pushing to get a little recognition before she releases anything. Most new artists just sit and wait around for the label to do everything. (Which with Epic, would be an awful idea.)
I'm guessing the song will drop next week. And I'm fairly certain that all of her famous friends will tweet about it, adding some extra levels of exposure.

I still feel like she'll release the single when the contest ends / she announces the winner of the contest. Maybe she's waiting because the winning entry will be the single cover? Sighhhh.
Plus, to be fair, the nail art is from the American Girl video shoot. At least this means things are moving along.

I mean the fact that she's shot the music video, recorded a version of the song for The Sims, and is planning out performances mean things are moving along at a great pace. It's not like she's just sitting around doing nothing while we wait.
