I always thought the Walk of Fame was reserved for really famous Hollywood stars. The fact that Al freaking Pacino and Julia Roberts don't have one.

Katy makes like 870k a week on average.

They only do one posthumous award per year, and to be nominated for one you have to be deceased for five or more years. I can only imagine what the waiting line looks like.


Leave it to ATRL to blow things out of proportion, though. People may be belittling it, but people are also making it out to be bigger than it really is. It's a great accomplishment, and she deserves the recognition.

as a Britney stan i have to say that wasnt deserved either. if she barely got one last year i could understand though.

Gaga does not hate Hollywood. She loves it. That is her whole persona. She has been obsessed with the culture since she was young, and has always wanted to be a star.

I think she got it because she fulfilled the criteria very well.
She broke record after record during the TD era, had her own movie, TV cameos, movie roles: personal achievements
She donates money from her music to charity and helps UNICEF in Madagascar: Philanthropy
She has been in the business for five years, and achieved much more than many pop stars do in 15.

That said, it's still confusing why Gaga and Rihanna don't have one yet.
And not people underrating the impact of the Walk of Fame. 10 million visitors a year.

Also, the 30,000 is a one time fee.

She deserves one ; )
