I don't trust our government at all. I'm sure they have their own secrets. Did you heard what happened in Alabama? There was a road block and the police asked random drivers for their blood and DNA samples. Why? this is some scary ****.

The government gets NOTHING out of withholding the existence of aliens from the public.

Do not come here with that story of the panic during the radio airing of War of the Worlds. That;s actually an urban legend and blown out of proportion. In reality, yes people would be stunned at first, but we would deal with it.

However, acting like the government can hide a whole species from the public is ludicrous. I think the only reason people do that is to keep a certain level mystery behind the government. We want to believe that aliens exist and that the government is the only thing that is keeping us in the dark about it.

Just think about it: if you were an alien, why would you hide and go to the government rather than present yourself to the masses? It makes no sense.

The reason you shouldnt trust the government is for the ****ed up **** they do in congress and in the oval office, but instead you all focus on conspiracy theories. Dont you all realize that conspiracy theories help the government **** you over by steering attention away from their actions because you all are too busy looking for ulterior motives?

What makes you think the government has any concrete evidence they could easily show/explain to the public?

Sure, statistically and knowing what we know about the universe, there's life out there SOMEWHERE.

But considering we still haven't figured out how to get one planet away from where we are, what on Earth makes you think we've reached a point where we have concrete visual or aural proof of another set of life forms out there somewhere?

And again, WHAT motive other than "omg da government is keepin' secrets conspiracy" would the government have to hide the existence of aliens from the public? If anything it would give the people a lot of FAITH in our government if they came out and said "We're the first to discover alien life!"

Every time they discover something on Mars right now that could indicate life is out there, or used to be out there, it's all over the news. Nothing is being hidden from you. Like Jonny said, focus on the actual problems in our government (like, you know, the fact that they're spying on all of us) instead of making up stories about aliens.

A quick Google search brought up the explanation for that in 5 seconds. They're being completely transparent about it, and nothing is being hidden. This is why its important to read and do your research instead of making your own conclusions and parroting information with absolutely no context.

They aren't even taking the name associated with the blood, it's completely random. Why are you bringing it up in an alien thread like it has anything to do with the subject?

Saying stuff like that makes you just as much of a "sheep" as anyone. You hear something and you present it without any context to make it look like a conspiracy theory, instead of actually giving people the full story. Be more responsible with information.
