I think her and Pitbull touring together was a mistake from the start as others have said. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the audience was there for Pitbull, seeing as no one I know wants to go to a Pitbull concert. I didn't end up going to see the show because she was touring with him, not to mention I couldn't find a single person who thought it was worth spending the money if Pitbull was going to be there.

This reviewer obviously doesn't know Kesha's live performance style, which is okay. It's definitely not for everyone. Her concerts are very fun though!


Oh my god, when I went to see her on the Get Sleazy Tour there were kids all around me and I was suffering from so much secondhand embarrassment. Are parents really that unaware of what they are buying for their children? They need to do a little research...

But it's exactly the sort of show the audience would want and expect from Ke$ha. Her performances, while over-the-top in their vulgarity, need not cater to those who do not appreciate or understand Ke$ha's act at its very face.

The most accurate statement I have seen in this thread. The reviewers don't seem to realize that. She's simply working with the music she makes the best way possible that is true to her. I saw someone else in this thread say "they're expecting some Pop diva but they get a rockstar" and that's so true, too. She might dress like a Pop star on stage or w/e but her aura is truly "rock".

So she's a misunderstood artist now?

Oh, and I forgot to mention Pitbull is HORRIBLE in concert. He literally stood in one spot the whole time and swayed side-to-side through every song. It was so boring. I mean, he's pretty terrible to begin with but god...

I mean... yes. She always has been. People dismiss her as "glittery trash *****" when she actually has songwriting talent and strives to release her heartfelt ballads as singles while her label snubs them. The immediate reaction from the GP is that she's some stupid girl that just sits in a bathtub of vodka and glitter all day when she's actually hardworking and quite intelligent.
