Regardless of whether she got parental consent, it's pretty dangerous and unethical to give children medication like that, and especially just for the purpose of tiring them out. She shouldn't keep her job, or continue to care for others' children anywhere.

Nothing new.

I mean, for example, didn't ppl find it odd how a kid will go sleep on time (or even earlier) when he/she is being taken care by day care or baby-sitter but not with his/her own parent(s)?

This is how my parents found out, they would come in to get me early and I would either be completely out or so groggy that it was obvious.
