I'll either listen to music that makes me happy, or I'll think about sad things until I force myself to cry, then just cry it out until I can't cry anymore and get over it.
I just cry it out. That's the best thing to do and it's okay to cry. If you can't cry than I say just do something that you enjoy to take your mind off of it. After I cry I just watch videos on Youtube or daydream about stuff that I want to happen and get lost in that. I hope you feel better though!
