I was a fan of Britney long since then, Bey when she went solo from DC3, and then Rihanna, but not enough to stan for any of them alone. Gaga's the one I 'stanned' for consistently for like three eras. I was never a fan of Xtina.

People who used to stan for Britney did become Gaga stans.

Gaga came along and picked up the slack and offers more as an overall artist. Also, a lot of current Madonna stans only became stans due to Gaga.
