Whose career will last longer: Rihanna vs Lady Gaga
Who will have a longer career? Not just an artist with a contract on a label but someone who still manages to release a single that makes a top 20 entry on Hot 100?

(May 24, 2005 - present)
8 years so far

(April 8, 2008 - present)
5 years so far

I think people will get bored with Rih soon since she hasn't done anything new since Loud.
Like, both of her most recent albums have the same theme. It's gotten boring.
Sure she can still get played on the radio, but you can only do the same type of song so many times before your "fans" move on to the next one

Hmmm their career can both be long but the question here is Which career would be in better condition after let say 10 years meaning which one will be still selling records, selling tickets to concerts and be seen as a legend?

Gaga will have a longer career.
When you're a lot into your career, being successful is getting to tour successfully and having your albums (old and new if released) sell moderately, radio and hit singles wouldn't matter anymore.

Rihanna, young, already 8 years of career, no sign of slowing down.

What does youth have to do with longing career? If that's the case, where is Willow Smith now?
Lady Gaga because she doesn't release same themed-albums every year and she keeps people interested and curious with her next move.

It took Gaga two albums to sell out stadiums. It took Rihanna eight. Gaga's two albums have easily outsold Rihanna's first two albums. We can keep going.
Gaga is more successful and will continue to be more successful. When Rihanna starts to fade, so too will the writers who want her to sing their songs.

Lady Gaga. She's an artist with an actual vision and control.
Rihanna's career is over as soon as she becomes a real rebel/bad ass and rebels against her slave masters def jam.

I said Gaga will have a longer career, I didn't say Rihanna is not touring or making records right now. It's about them selling out stadiums then.

A big career opening =/= a long lasting career
When your fave will be able to have 5 mill selling singles after 7 years of career, come back again.

Gaga is the writer, sings, produces, plays the piano, designs, markets, dances....etc.
She's the whole package, she got herself to this point, she has a certain style, she is behind the creativity.
Rihanna is driven by a team of songwriters and producers. It's like she has no musical identity, she's all over the place. People keep saying that she's versatile and all, but the truth is that her producers and co-writers are versatile, not herself.

You can't be more delusional.
Both of them have big teams.
They are nothing without them.
Monsters have to realise that everything about Gaga isn't discovered/made by her mind!
