It was a good kind of bad, the songs were catchy and had good beats/ melodies. And I just fully listened to "Brave", and many songs stood out. As a fan I love it, of course; however she's missing that classic element of dance she's known for. She hasn't put out an amazing song as of "On the 6" for me. "If You Had My Love" "Feeling So Good" "Waiting for Tonight" and "Lets Get Loud" all had something none of her recent songs have had. It's just missing that "umph", flavor. Although it's listenable. enjoyable and amazing, however its forgetable at times.
I think "Brave" & "Never Gonna Give Up" are the best songs on the album. However there short of missing a high note, which she can't deliever. Dance wise, "Stay Together" is the hottest track, next to first single "Do It Well" and "Hold It Don't Drop It". While "Mile in these Shoes" is just hot, but I couldn't see as a single.
Her CD's for me go as a fan
1. On the 6 / Como Ama Una Mujer
2. Rebirth
3. Brave
4. J.Lo
5. This Is Me.. Then
Song wise. (as a critic)
