t’s been reported that Cheryl Cole has split from her US management team after giving up on her dream of cracking the USA.

The British singer has parted ways with will.i.am and his associate Seth Friedman, who she hired in 2011 to oversee her Stateside career when she landed a spot on The X Factor USA.

Cole was famously axed from her role as a judge after just three weeks and has now decided to give up on plans to make it in America.

"Cheryl had originally brought in a new and experienced team to help her with cracking America when news of her X Factor USA signing broke," a source told the Sunday Mirror.

"But it's been two years since she was sacked and she no longer has plans or a desire to make it over there.

"She doesn't have a US record deal and, despite the rumours, is not going to be moving over there."

The press seem to make out she was desperate to break America, but she has never said she wants too, infact whenever she has been asked she says she has no plans for it. Obviously she had US X Factor, but that was an easy way in and I don't think she has the drive and ambition to try and do it without that.

If she had that dream she would have fighted for it in the first place. I think she thought the opportunity came too late for her and she didn't care anymore when she got a chance.

I remember thinking she was over it when last year she couldn't be bothered to go to any of the Grammy parties she was invited to assist. I thought she would go to the Roc Nation one but no.

It makes sense that she doesn't want to start from the bottom all over again. US X Factor was perfect to get her name out there and promote her music, but obviously that fell through. Remain that local UK Queen, Chezza!

I agree she never had such big ambitions and dreams, she seemed to ahve been satisfied with what she did so far.

I've always loved the fact that Cheryl never wanted to crack the USA.
