Rita Ora gave her strongest indication yet that recording sessions for her much anticipated second album are at an advanced stage - just moments before jetting off to America.
The 22-year-old singer has had a busy twelve months following the release of debut long-player Ora last August and its eventual place at the top of the UK album chart after selling an impressive 42,000 copies during its first week of sales.
With the album also spawning four hit singles Rita is now under pressure to emulate its success and recently revealed that she's jetting off to Los Angeles to lay down tracks for the follow-up.

“About to take off. #LA #Album2,” she tweeted on Thursday (July 13), next to an Instagram image of herself, apparently seated on an aeroplane.
The day before, Rita teased fans with another posting on Twitter.
“Off to bed LA in 4 hours...night. X” she wrote.
Earlier this year the Shine Ya Light singer admitted her sophomore release will be more 'focused' than its predecessor, which was written and recorded before she was a fully developed artist.
Under pressure: Rita Ora is hoping to emulate the success of first album Ora (WENN)
“Ora was a funny situation,” she told Music News. “I was still figuring myself out. I was 18 and I'm 22 now. I was experimenting. The second album is more directional, much clearer. I definitely know what I want more and it's pretty straightforward with what I'm trying to say with this second album.
“It's very clear and that's why I had to make a new album. There's still elements of pop in there, but pop from when it was pop – from the Blondie, No Doubt days to turning it into my love for the '90's hip-hop.”
Is this one going to be released in the US? I want to believe her when she says it'll be better than the 1st one but the 1st one was so basic that just being slightly better will not cut it.
She also desperately needs a new stylist and a different make up artist.
I mean she better come harder. She's got the talent and personality, it's just ha style which is kinda ****ing it up. But I don't care really as long as the music is good. Good enough to live up to ha talent, that is.
