Now that the next gen consoles are available for preorder, have you reserved yours yet?

I just put down the $100 deposit at GameStop for my PS4 it'll be so nice to avoid the craziness. Although I might wait in line at Walmart and get another one to sell for profit. It sounds kinda fun tbh.

Well you need a minimum deposit of $100 (in store) but you can pay off the whole thing if you want. You can also make payments (like pay $100 now, another $100 in 2 months, etc). Also you can reserve games for a minimum of $5 each.

Preordered the PS4 within minutes of Amazon making it available to preorder. I'll be getting it at launch, AND I won't have to brave the elements (and the crazies) to get one.

No because the PS4 will be at 699$ or more in my country, so I'll import.

Since the Amazon PS4 Launch Edition is sold out, can I buy the Standard Edition and get it on release day? Or is the launch one the only edition guaranteed for November and the standard is whenever they get more stock? I want to preorder but am not sure of the details!

There's no difference between Amazon's Launch Edition and Standard Edition besides that you get the Launch Edition at launch and the Standard Edition whenever they get more stock. I think I've seen a few people get their Standard orders pushed up to Launch but I wouldn't count on it at this point.

Nope. I never buy a system when it first comes out. I let everyone else spend their money and experience the technical issues (e.g. the ring of death) and then I wait until said issues are resolved.

I will most likely buy a PS4 at least a year after its release.

Pre-ordering PS4 later in the summer as long as it's not gone.
