I agree that dragging for the sake of dragging Taylor because you feel like it needs to stop. But I don't mind "dragging" that has meaning behind it. If you can support what you say and it's a real concern for you then I don't mind discussion. I like positivity and yeah some times this base gets so down over stupid little things and that needs to stop. But at the same time, if people say something like I don't like what Taylor is doing here and then say why I don't see the problem??? We're not robots.
Some of the people complaining about pop Taylor aren't doing it because of the music. They're doing it because of the group she's in now. She's become part of the pop gurl group because of Max Martin not because of the songs themselves. Same with the country stuff too like HDC where she collaborated with Tim and Keith in order to also belong in the mainstream country group. It's this trying to change herself in order to fit neatly into a specific group that bothers some people. The whole greatness of Taylor is that she didn't fit in a specific group. Groups breed loss of personal consciousness and responsibility and that worries people. When you're in something deeply, you can't estimate the power it has to do the very opposite of what you want.
