It's not that he was being intentionally malicious with the statement, but rather it was said in such a flippant way is what is concerning. The fact rape jokes (that make fun of the victim) can be so common and casual in an industry event without anyone batting an eyelash is unfortunate and speaks of the immature boys club it still is.
