I don't know what's wrong with Christina's career right now. For a main release with a ton of promo to sell exponentially less than a GH album with hardly any promo is pathetic.

What I don't get about PLU is the video. If they don't give a single **** about the song being a single then why did they put so much effort into the video (compared with her previous videos)? They thought that they would release a music video, do one promo performance (on show that's flopping) and the song itself would miraculously fly up the charts? Not every song is such a surefire smash like Stronger (although I thought that PLU was). Damn, I thought that Dark Side was a flop but it was a hit when compared to PLU.
Kelly just needs to get out of RCA. They tend to use most of their money only for tour artists. I mean, look at P!nk. So many non-single tracks have their official lyrics videos. They don't need to invest their money in Kelly's music cuz her sales are midiocre and tour gross suck. If Kelly remains as one of RCA's artists, This vicious circle will not end.
What if all the country recordings are for a pop-country double disc album?

I don't know about that. I mean, the Stronger era was fairly indicative that she and the label had a lot more solidarity than in the past. And I'm not even sure if this instance of an above average music video is a sign that Kelly meant to put any effort into this GH era. Or if she'll do the same for her sixth studio album.
She might be better off at a different label who have a deeper pocket and interest to support her and her music. Who knows.
