So? He has been a huge part of her life for so many years. You can't expect her to forget about him just like that. Her image was really hurt when she went back to him and after the break up may be she feels betrayed/regrets that she spent so much time with him. Him being on her mind is more than normal. I am sure that she is on his mind too.
