This whole incident has really made me dislike her... I do hope she gets the help she needs. She is in no position to be doing crap like this (as far as we know... there could be some underlying reason that is legit).

Yeah she's rich and famous and all but I don't think there's a lot of happiness in that house/family.

So because she was using this situation as a subliminal cry for help, you dislike her? She can't help the fact that this is getting loads of media attention because she is the daughter of one of the most famous people to ever live. If this had of been you or me attempting this we wouldn't have anywhere near as much attention because people don't care about this stuff unless you're in the spotlight. You sound like an insensitive jerk and you really should evaluate your beliefs when it comes to this issue.

What the hell?

This doesn't sound like much of a 'temper tantrum' to me, nobody tries to kill themselves (even if they don't actually intend on doing it) unless there are underlying problems there. Clearly she's been suffering for a while judging from the reports and she could even be suffering with an illness like depression which would need to be treated. I don't get how you could lose respect from her after this, this was just her way of subconsciously forcing herself to receive the help she needs. And who are you to say she's in no position to do this, you and I know hardly anything about the situation.

Bullied or not, that's not an excuse for her to hurt herself like that of course.

Attention or not, the girl has some issues. And I genuinely think she's being exploited by her family, so of course that brings in troubling issues.

I don't like how this most recent artilce makes her sound like an attention *****. This girl is CLEARLY unhappy and it was a cry for help. And Honestly im not surpised. She has aunts and uncles holding her grandma hostage and trying to get to her money. She doesnt have much to be happy about. One of the only people who actually seemed to care about her died. Now she only has her grandmother and siblings.

OMG.

Right? I hate all of the negative attention surrounding suicide attempts, especially with celebrities. People assume it's all for attention and press. Paris is obviously very depressed, and needs some serious help. I hope she receives all of the love and support she needs. She's a really good person, and I feel terrible for her.
