My parents thought I was in college two semesters ago but really I didn't. I used the enrollment money to **** up my life. It was a long string of lies.

Wow, that's a bit extreme.

I told everyone in Primary School that I'm in a famous musical group in Berlin. I also told them that we performed things like "Cats" and that kind of stuff.

One time I told one of my best friends that Ed Sheeran [She's obsessed with him] had died & she was like "stop lying", so I showed her a fake web page & she thought it was real and started crying to the point where she was like screaching and red.. I felt really bad, but when she found out he wasn't dead she was really pissed off with me and the next day put ants in my cereal and I think I may have actually ate one

I'm very androgynous. Many of people, not all but some, believe I'm physically female when out in public. But I don't tell them I'm male It's dangerous playing with people like that, but i do it because I feel my gender identity shouldn't define me; "If you're girl, you should do/be this, if you're a guy you should do/be this" so to speak. I like being male and female. Both sides have their perks. Bigots and narrow minds will just have to deal

The biggest lie I ever told was to my parents was how I managed to sneak out of the country (basically Toronto) and go to Panama, Florida for Spring Break. Seeing how I was in college I barely mad money, so after paying for the trip I was on an $89 budget........ My sister knew my plan so it was all good on her side. I told my parents I was on placement for the week and I would be really busy so I wouldn't be able to call much.

But like 3 days in and they didn't hear from me even after 37 phone calls (yes I'll never forget checking my phone coming back over the boarder) they were going to file a missing persons report and drive up and search the city for me etc etc. Luckily my friend brought her phone with her, and she just HAPPENED to check her Facebook and got a message from my sister to make one quick call to say hi. So I told them my phone got wet and I had to pull my battery to let it dry which is why I couldn't call.

I remember on graduation day though.....someone made a comment about Florida and I had to tell them the whole thing. I remember my mom called me an idiot and why I wouldn't just ask for the $328, she would have paid for it.

I told my Intro to Advertisement proffesor that I didn't do my final project because I just came out to my family and they disowned me. I told her I had been depressed lately because of it. She waived the grade.

That's actually kind of brilliant, as long as she never gets in contact with your family.

Mine is not much of a lie, but more a suppression of truth. Everyone in my family and circle of friends is under the impression that I left my last job on good terms, but I actually went AWOL, didn't officially file a resignation or anything, just didn't show up for work forever.

I have told only one person about it. It's pretty much going to be that one deep dark secret that I will forever keep to myself, and will only tell it to a few select people. I'm trying to redeem myself in my current job though.
