We all know that Xtina and Britney started at Disney and they are pop legends. But I feel like the new pop girls (especially the teen ones) are always praising Britney and forgeting about Xtina. Why?

I think Christina doesn't mind getting praise from people like Etta James and Tony Bennett over someone like Selena Gomez or Miley Cyrus.

Apart from both starting at Disney, their careers and their music don't have much too in common.

That's not to say she doesn't get praised by the newer generation, though. Most of the Disney/Nick girls look up to her and have cited her before.

Because our generation (those who are now between 20-27 years) grew up with Britney, not with Christina, no one ever cared about her.
