Hollister if you look at the top part it was dedicated to PF where she won 1 VMA the bottom part was for PF:RR but I did make edits to avoid any confusion.

That new Foxy Brown interview is everything, everything...
It really showed me how much of Foxy Brown is in Nicki. I don't mean just lyrically and with their rapping styles, but they have similar behaviors and personalities. They are both so strong but at the same time vulnerable. They can be open, but they are mostly private when it comes to personal matters... The list goes on and on.
Foxy is so genuine and it is sad to have people actively overlook her. Y'all don't realize how much love Foxy has shown to Nicki. Towards the end of the interview, Foxy said in so many words (with quite a bit of trailing off thanks to the interviewer):
"I was talking to Nicki the other day and I told her: I took the shots, I made mistakes, and I can't go back and change things."
That is wisdom, man... Wisdom. And closer to end, Foxy said that she told Nicki that she did not need to "beef" with Mariah. Nicki countered with "That is like the pot calling the kettle black because, Fox, you would stand up for yourself and wouldn't take any **** from anyone." And in response Foxy said: "Yeah, but guess what... It hurt me. I took those shots. You don't have to do that. If you have a problem, we gone ride."
Foxy went on to say that Nicki doesn't have to have that attitude for her legacy and she is blessed, beautiful, intelligent, and doesn't need Idol.
Foxy is so genuine, humble, and mature. I honestly doubted that Nicki was hearing the right things from people around her and I am so happy that Foxy shared that with her. I pray Nicki becomes a woman just as mature and classy as Foxy Brown has become if not double that. Female rap and the entire music industry needs more Foxys.

This is what I am hoping for...her music to have the same bragging but still educating on how to brand songs, the ratchet songs for the clubs (dance/strip) but also reflective pieces that show vulnerability and growth. Something to educate the young barbz its seems as though her headspace in interviews has been in a reflective way.
She really will speak about some real issues and overcoming bad habits and aspirational pieces. I have astrong feeling. I'm glad Foxy talked some sense into her because her biggest move right now is to own her mistakes (luckily she still won) and show that she's grown and matured.
The public is fickle and that can work for you or against you. With the fickle mind, it is easy to leave a certain impression as the public is very impressionable and can be easily swayed.
No lie: It was the 'in' thing to hate Nicki after she made such a bold, ballsy move yet she continued to win awards, sell records and make an impact people slowly start to pick up that it didn't kill her...NOW SHE NEEDS TO SHOW THAT IT MADE HER STRONGER AND SMARTER. Her AI thing with mariah kind of put a damper on that but she's headed back in the right direction.
Azealia banks is not going to be mainstream.
Angel haze I pay dust.
Iggy I like but it's just not going to work.
IF and that's a big IF someone is even close to nipping at her heels because for now all these btches are her sidewalk...it will take at least 3-4 years for them to brand themselves to be a real threat.
Let's face it. None of the female rappers of the past are going to come back. Even the most respected Eve and Missy couldn't. The joke Kim isn't and I love Remy ma but when she gets out of jail she won't. Foxy and Lauryn have been out to lunch...730

and the others are non descripts.
It's her game to lose and she will not lose it. So it will be up to Nicki to really bring the introspection, vulnerability and thought provoking material to not just make it an easy win but a worthwhile win so that her slayage is not in vain but can be attributed to the respect she deserves.
Alright, I got to run some errands but I have to release...pauz

Rihanna, Chris brown, Katy perry (who allegedly does some stuff), Justin bieber all have dumb themselves down or have done immature things to keep people's attention. It's so true. It's a cycle that will never be broken. I just hope that Rihanna can control her partying.
I have a feeling Chris Brown won't, Katy will outgrow it and Bieber sigh...I can already see what's going to happen to him hanging around those thugs that he thinks are his friends.
