So, for last year's Olympics in London, they revealed a huge sculpture/observation tower which they said would "rival the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben and the Statue of Liberty as a world-renowned icon".

However, when it was revealed, the response was overwhelmingly negative from both the general public and critics alike. It is called the Orbit, and has been described as an "ugly, unfinished roller-coaster".

Despite what people say, I actually do like it and I think it grows on you. After all, people said the Eiffel Tower was a monstrosity when it was first revealed...

Oh God. That looks a roller coaster crashed into a tower. Awful.

I'm sure a lot of work went into it, but it's pretty hideous. At least the Eiffel tower was symmetrical.

I don't use, and thankfully it's within the confines of the Olympic Park, so I don't need to look at it.

Day or night, it's still a sight sore.

You can see it anywhere in Stratford though.

It's gross looking, but also interesting. Nothing can touch the classy and legendary Eiffel Tower though.

It looks messy but it looks kinda decent at night.
